Division awards-
There is a numerous amount of awards up for grabs for entrants all ages and experience levels at Camp. These include highest points for each section, Paraders classes, Junior Judging, Team leaders awards and encouragement awards.
Highest Beef Achiever-
Generously sponsored by the WA Youth Cattle Camp, the Highest Beef Achiever receives a $2000 travel bursary to attend a youth cattle show of their choosing anywhere in Australia. The recipient of this award must submit an application to attend their chosen event to the WAYCA following the Camp, and are invited back to present the following year on their experience. This award is open to entrants over 16 years of age.
Highest Dairy Achiever-
Generously sponsored by the WA Youth Cattle Camp, the Highest Dairy Achiever receives a $2000 travel bursary to attend a youth cattle show of their choosing anywhere in Australia. The recipient of this award must submit an application to attend their chosen event to the WAYCA following the Camp, and are invited back to present the following year on their experience. Tocal Beef Assessment-
In partnership with the WA Angus Society and Angus Australia, the WA Youth Cattle Camp offers a $1000 scholarship to assist one camp entrant to attend the Tocal Beef assessment school in Paterson NSW.
Entrants must be over 18 years of age as of December 1st 2024 and can apply for the scholarship with their application to camp. Judging will take place during the 2024 WA Youth Cattle Camp. T&C's apply
Farmwest AI Technician course-
Farmwest have been proud supporters of the WA Youth Cattle Camp for countless years, and this year is no different. Farmwest have generously donated a position for an entrant to complete their AI technician training course in Waterloo WA valued at $1400. Entrants must be over 16 years of age and can apply within their application to camp. T&C's apply
Angus National Roundup-
Again sponsored by the WA Angus Society and Angus Australia, the WA Youth Cattle Camp offers a $1000 scholarship to assist one camp entrant to attend the Angus National Roundup in 2025. Entrants must be 18 years of age as of 1st January 2025 and can apply for the scholarship with their application to camp. T&C's apply
